SEPANG, 22 MAY 2015 - MASkargo marked another historical milestone today by launching its Airbus A330-200 freighter flight to Bangalore, India, in a development that augurs well for the country's economy.

MH6242 is scheduled to fly into Bengaluru International Airport from Kuala Lumpur every Friday and the weekly freighter flight will offer a total capacity of 60 tonnes.

“There is a huge potential for MASkargo to grow in India. We are meeting the market demand to connect Kuala Lumpur and Bangalore for the export of electronic spare parts and the import of pharmaceutical products and garment to Malaysia and beyond,” said Ahmad Luqman Mohd Azmi, Acting Chief Executive Officer of MASkargo.

MASkargo adds Bangalore to its cargo network.

He added, MASkargo is committed to play its part as the preferred air cargo carrier to meet the requirements of a rapidly growing market such as Bangalore. Additionally, MASkargo operates twice weekly freighter services into Chennai International Airport with a generous payload.
