To: All Our Valued Customers A clean and orderly work premise environment sets the tone for the entire establishment as good housekeeping encourages good work habits and good morale.
It's also a big factor in accident prevention. Poor housekeeping promotes poor morale and hazards which leads to accidents such as :

congested passageways with excessive materials or waste
-
tools, equipment, vehicles and machinery including dollies, pallets, airline ULD's and cargo shipments blocking the walkway
-
new/used table and chairs along the passageway
-
failure to clean up spilled material eg. Hydraulic/oil spill
-
allowing the existence of projecting sharp objects i.e. nails, wire, steel strapping, broken glass etc.

allowing flammable material to accumulate, poor adherence to smoking rules
-
accumulation of oily rags and oily waste in the open air
There shall be no obstruction or violation as per above at the walkway/passageway or corridor at your premise?..
As per the Fire Services Act 1988, Act 341, the interpretation of "calamity" means an occurrence by which life or property is or is likely to be endangered; "closing order" means an order made under section 13 that prohibits such use of any premises as is specified in the order, the use of which may materially increase the likelihood of a fire or the danger to Life or property resulting from the outbreak of a fire in or on the premise or other premises; providing adequate, safe egress for the purpose of evacuation or exit of occupants in the event of fire;
Good housekeeping is a good advertisement for your organization and makes your workplace a much safer place to work. Customers/clients have more confidence in an organization that does its job in clean, pleasant and efficient surroundings. Kindly adhere strictly to the above to avoid unnecessary action taken upon you.
