COURSE DESCRIPTION

This course introduces the basics of the air cargo business.

WHO SHOULD ATTEND

A highly recommended course for new entrants to the industry and operational staff without previous formal training in air cargo. Participants would be given the basics of the air cargo business.

At the end of the course, participants would be able to:

• Explain the meaning of common air freight terminologies.
• Outline the procedures for the acceptance and delivery of air freight.
• Compute air freight and related charges correctly.
• Execute an Airwaybill correctly.
• Outline the cargo configuration of various aircraft types.
• Handle Special Loads professionally.
