COURSE DESCRIPTION
The aim of the Occupational Safety and Health Act 1994 is to promote safety and health awareness and establish effective safety organisation and performance through self regulation schemes designed to suit the particular industry or organisation, by the accumulation of influences and pressures. This course is designed to give participants an appreciation of this Act.

LEARNING OBJECTIVE
- To give participants a detailed insight of the requirements under the Occupational Safety and Health Act 1994.
- To introduce participants to the ways and means of conforming to the required duties and responsibilities of the Employer (the Supervisor in particular) and the Employee in general.
METHODOLOGY
The course is conducted in a friendly but firm environment using various modern training aids through lectures, discussions, case study and written exercises.
