MASKARGO FLIES YAYASAN TELEKOM MALAYSIA’S RELIEF AID FOR TERENGGANU FLOOD VICTIMS.
MASkargo flew 250 boxes of relief items on Thursday, 29 December, in aid of flood victims in Terengganu. The shipment was contributed by Yayasan Telekom Malaysia (YTM) under the GLC/GLIC Disaster Response Network (GDRN) collective efforts.

“Thousands have been impacted by the severe weather events in the East Coast of Malaysia.  Heavy rains have caused extreme flooding, causing immense damage to homes and critical infrastructure in multiple communities. Sending over relief aid is the least we can do to assist our fellow Malaysians. This is also part of our efforts as a member of GDRN in supporting their humanitarian efforts”, said Mark Jason Thomas, MASkargo’s Chief Executive Officer.

The MASkargo Logistics Team coordinated the cargo submission for the goods to be flown on MH1336 which departed KLIA at 3.30pm. Upon arrival in Terengganu, Mohd Amrie Ismail and the AeroDarat Services team assisted in collecting the boxes before handing them over to Tuan Muhammad Hanafi Hamdzah, Terengganu’s Angkatan Pertahanan Awam (APM) Deputy Director. The relief items were then distributed to the affected families in Besut, Terengganu by the YTM with APM’s assistance.
